PORSCHE TAYCAN REPAIR SERVICES
TAYCAN
We are a top-rated local Porsche Taycan repair services shop in Fremont, CA. We also serve the greater East Bay Area, including Milpitas, Sunol, Newark, and Union City.
The Porsche Taycan is one of the most advanced EVs on the road, but even with that level of engineering, issues can still come up. Some are software-related. Others have to do with the suspension, charging system, or brakes.
At Fremont Foreign Auto, we work with Taycan owners across the East Bay who want straightforward answers and expert service. Whether it’s a warning light or something just feels off, we’ll take a look and keep things moving in the right direction.
Here are some of the most common problems we see with the Taycan:

Charging Problems or Slow Charge Speeds
If your Taycan isn’t charging like it used to, or it stops charging altogether, it could be a problem with the charging port, onboard charger, or the software that controls it all. Sometimes it’s a simple communication error. Other times, it points to a part that’s starting to fail.
We run a full check on the charging system, update the software if needed, and test the port and connections. If there’s a hardware issue, we’ll find it and fix it.
Electrical Warnings and Software Glitches
Being a high-tech EV means the Taycan relies on a lot of electronics. When something glitches, it’s not always obvious where the problem starts. You might see random alerts on the dash, frozen displays, or certain functions not working like they should.
We scan every system to see what’s really going on. Whether it’s a sensor, module, or just outdated firmware, we get it sorted out without replacing parts unnecessarily.
Brake System Noise or Uneven Feel
With regenerative braking doing part of the work, the Taycan’s physical brakes can sometimes wear unevenly. This can lead to noise, vibration, or a spongy pedal feel. You might also notice a difference in stopping distance during low-speed braking.
We inspect the pads, rotors, and system pressure, then clean, resurface, or replace components as needed. You’ll leave with brakes that feel more consistent and responsive.
Suspension Faults or Ride Height Issues
The Taycan’s adjustable air suspension is great when it works—but if it starts acting up, you’ll feel it. Uneven height, a rough ride, or a warning light can all point to a failing sensor or air strut.
We test the height sensors, lines, and compressor, and we check for any leaks or faults in the system. If it’s something simple, we fix it on the spot. If a part needs replacing, we’ll let you know exactly what’s involved.
Range Drop or Performance Changes
Noticing a drop in range or a change in how the car feels under acceleration? It could be tied to software, tire wear, or battery health.
We run a full EV system diagnostic, check the battery, and look at recent driving patterns. Sometimes it’s a tire issue. Sometimes it’s temperature-related. Either way, we’ll figure it out and get you the answers you need.
