Oil changes are an excellent check-in time for your vehicle so that your mechanic can spot any warning signs of potential problems. Our ASE-certified mechanics will always perform a complete exterior inspection.

Oil changers fill your car with bulk oil from a 55-gallon barrel, replaced when they get to the bottom. It’s open to the air, absorbing water and becoming oxidized. We use name-brand oil from individual bottles.

Oil changer employees have inadequate training and experience other than in how to change automobile oil. When your car is on our lift, our mechanic will look your car over for leaky components, loose bushings, and perished parts. While we are there, all grease fittings will be lubricated.

Particles so tiny they bypass the filter are collected by the engine oil. Acidic products of combustion also circulate in the oil. Highly reactive oxygen from the air reacts with these molecules to change the oil’s chemical structure, resulting in less lubrication efficiency. Nissan recommends fully synthetic oil changed between 7,500-10,000 miles to minimize the cumulative effects of these contaminants.

Your car’s computer displays service reminders as a convenience. They scrutinize miles driven since the last oil change and consider how stressful the miles were. We take pride in updating these reminders for your convenience.

We suggest frequent oil level checks of recently purchased vehicles. Some vehicles never burn oil; others need replenishing every 500 miles. Many nearly new vehicles require top-ups between changes. The suggested weight of your car’s engine oil is on the filler cap; it’s also in the owner’s manual. Your Armada uses 5W-30 fully synthetic motor oil.

Unlike the oil change specialists, we will not upsell you into cabin filters or other easily changed parts if you don’t need them. We use factory or finest quality aftermarket oil filters. The oil change specialists’ cheaper oil filters may fall to pieces during the long change intervals recommended with synthetic oil. Your oil circulation system would be obstructed and result in a destroyed engine. There are oil filters meant explicitly for synthetic oil. They hold up under the more extended change intervals recommended for synthetic oil. We recommend that these be used for your Armada.

The manufacturer’s oil change recommendation ought not to be extended. Besides allowing contaminants to circulate longer, missing your oil change benchmarks will void the warranty. Synthetic oil can prevent sludge problems. Like a collapsed filter, sludge may stop up your engine’s lubrication system. An engine rebuild would be in your future.
